Course Description

This NUKE tutorial will show you how to remove a foreground object by using camera projection techniques. To recreate the scene in 3D, we will create plates using Photoshop. The tutorial will begin by creating a 3D camera using the NUKEX camera tracking tool. Next, we will make the 3D scene easier to read and look at the card workflow. Next, we will use Photoshop to create a clean plate of our primary foreground elements. Next, we will learn how to match a card with our 3D footage. We will then repeat this process for the background, foreground and walls. We will run into problems along the way and find solutions. The tutorial will be completed with a shot of the object removed completely. Software required: Nuke 6.3v1.
