This course will teach you how to set up service applications and web applications in SharePoint 2010. Learn about the services available in SharePoint 2010, as well as which functionality they provide. This course will also discuss the differences between creating service applications instances using the Farm Creation Wizard and manually creating them using PowerShell scripts. Also, you will learn how to configure authentication providers and create web applications.
