Course Description

This specialization will equip aspiring and experienced songwriters with the skills and techniques to create hit songs. To help you make the most of your musical ideas, the award-winning Berklee Songwriting Faculty has selected four courses that each focus on a specific song element. You will begin with the music and lyrics. From there, you'll learn how to create thought-provoking ways of expressing the emotions you want to convey. You will then create a musical arrangement that includes complete accompaniment for your song. You will then be able to create your own demos with Ableton Live, the most powerful digital audio workstations available (DAW).
