Course Description

This series of tutorials will show you how to use Illustrator to create a website wireframe. Let's start with the purpose of our website and what our client needs are. We will create our home page artboard and discuss the importance of the grid system. We will discuss the 12 column grid, its benefits and where it can be used in the future. We'll then discuss Illustrator's great tools that allow us to quickly and easily create wireframe elements, duplicate them, and reuse them on other pages. We will also discuss how to take a wireframe's low-fidelity level to medium-fidelity. The final part of the training will cover responsive design and how to create a wireframe that can be used on a tablet or smartphone. This training will help you feel more comfortable using Illustrator to create website wireframes. Software required: Illustrator 17.1.0.
