Pennsylvania University is a public state research university located in University Park, Pennsylvania, United States. The university was established in 1855 and is currently accredited with the MSCHE. The P.S.U. Believes in “Making Life Better” of those who seek education here. Smeal College of Business is a branch of this vast, experienced tree. It was established in 1953 with Ossian R. MacKenzie as the first Dean. Currently, that position is filled by Charles Whiteman.
Smeal College offers education in consultation, financing, entrepreneurship, health care administration, leadership, marketing, supply chain management, logistics, statistics, and many other related fields. It provides undergraduate, M.B.A., Executive M.B.A., Master in Accounting, Master of Professional Studies in Supply Chain Management, and doctoral programs in six primary fields. There is another Penn state Executive program also, which is a non-degree executive program.
The Q.S. list ranked the Smeal College of Business at 73rd position in the Worldwide overall category. The Worldwide M.B.A. category was organized by the Economist and the Financial Times at Number 50 and 86, respectively. The U.S. M.B.A. category was ranked by the Bloomberg Businessweek, Forbes, and U.S. News and World Report at numbers 38, 29, and 33, respectively. And lastly, in the U.S. undergraduate category, it was ranked by the Bloomberg Businessweek and U.S. News and World Report on the 19th and 21st position, respectively.
