OpenHPI

The Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI) is an independent faculty of Digital Engineering at the University of Potsdam in Germany. Renowned for its excellence in digital engineering, HPI offers a unique combination of excellent research, high-quality teaching, and the advantages of a privately funded institution with a tuition-free study program. With the support of the benefactor Hasso Plattner and international collaborations reaching Silicon Valley, the institute's offerings continue to expand. One of HPI's notable contributions is openHPI, a digital education platform that offers a wide range of courses and additional services. openHPI has a dedicated infrastructure, team and resources.
Since September 2012, professors and researchers at HPI have been creating interactive massive open online courses (MOOCs) on various IT topics, Digital Health, and Design Thinking, which are then published on the openHPI platform. These online courses are available in both German and English languages. Additionally, openHPI features a global social learning network. Furthermore, openHPI is utilized for hybrid learning formats and to supplement face-to-face lectures at the Hasso Plattner Institute.
