Adobe Illustrator for Photoshop Users

This series of lessons will focus on Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop users. This course will begin by teaching you about the differences between pixels and vectors. Next, we will explore Illustrator's workspace and learn how it differs from Photoshop's. Next we will learn about the basics of Illustrator objects and look at some of Illustrator's tools for creating these objects. We'll then look at how to manage and organize objects using layers and groups. You'll also be able to explore Illustrator's more advanced tools, such as the pathfinder panel and compound paths. We will also learn how to mask, use Illustrator effects, and how to use them. We'll also learn how Illustrator works with Photoshop using smart objects. You should be able to create and manipulate your own projects in Illustrator after you have completed this training. Software required: Illustrator CS5.
