Course Description

It is essential that cybersecurity professionals have a "laboratory" where they can practice their skills and test new vulnerabilities. As with all disciplines, you must practice, practice and practice more before you can apply your skills in the real world. You don't have the time to "try out" a tool or learn something new during an engagement. This course, Building CyberSecurity Laboratory Environment, will show you how to create an environment to improve your learning and that is independent from your production network. First, you will learn the reasons for setting up a lab and how you can maintain it. Next, you will discover how to add target systems to Windows platforms, as well as systems that are deliberately vulnerable. These targets will enable you to launch attacks and verify vulnerabilities.
