Course Description

This tutorial series will introduce you to the concept of an avatar and how it can be used to represent users in digital form. We will also look at the reference photo and sketch a caricature of it to use as our avatar. We'll then begin to flesh out the base facial expression of our avatar by adding lines and blocking in values and colors. We'll also learn how to create an additional expression using the majority of the information in our original expression. This course will focus on the visual interpretation of different aspects of your avatar when it is reduced to a smaller size. Adobe Photoshop CS6 is required
