Discovering Microsoft Azure

Tailwind Traders' new developers have a saying about learning the technology platform: "It is like drinking from a firehose." Learning all Microsoft Azure services can be overwhelming, especially if it's your first time using them. This session will introduce Azure and the core concepts that make up our cloud platform. We begin by discussing cloud computing and the benefits it offers for you and your team. Next, we will look at the basic features and services as well as how to set up an account or subscription. We then visit the Azure Portal to get a quick overview and learn more about the different resources and their uses.
