This course provides a basic introduction to data analysis and the role of the Data Analyst. It also explains the tools used to accomplish daily tasks. This course will give you an overview of the data ecosystem as well as the basics of data analysis such data gathering and data mining. This course will teach you how to distinguish between Data Scientist, Data Analyst, and Data Engineer. This course will teach you about the duties of a Data Analyst as well as what data analysis is. You will be able summarize the data ecosystem including databases and data warehouses. The major vendors in the data ecosystem will be revealed and you can explore the different tools available on-premise or in the cloud. You can continue this exciting journey by learning about Big Data platforms like Spark, Hive, or Hadoop. This course will help you to understand the day-to-day life of a Data Analyst and the various career options available. This course will teach you the fundamentals of data analysis.
