Course Description

This course focuses primarily on structural analysis using the solver LSDYNA. The course will help you gain a better understanding and be able to simulate any structural problem in both implicit and explicit environments. Learn about section definitions and how to create a material card. You'll also understand the types of contact algorithms, their importance, and how they work. You will also learn about mass scaling, timestep, implicit scheme, how to set-up the implicit problem, as well as the basics of crashworthiness analysis. You will also be given the basics of setting up simulations. This course is for you if you are interested in structural mechanics and strength, or if you want to be a CAE engineer.
