Course Description

Microsoft Teams provides a range of functionality and could be used to host meetings, collaborate on documents and even assign and monitor tasks for project management. MS Teams also integrates very well with the Microsoft Office Suite of products and makes it easy to create, modify and collaborate on worksheets, word documents, spreadsheets and so on. This course is designed to help you master Microsoft Teams, from basic features like ‘chat’ to advanced features like creating teams using a PowerShell command. The first module will focus on using Teams as an end user. Here we will demonstrate how to use chat features, join and participate in teams and channels, work with files and hold meetings using the Microsoft Teams client. Next, you will learn to utilise some manager-focused functionality like team creation and design, adding and removing team members as well as assigning and monitoring tasks using ‘Planner’. You will also discover how MS Teams integrates with the rest of the Microsoft 365 suite. Finally, you will learn to use advanced functionality as a MS Teams administrator. In this section, we will explain the dependencies for Teams. You will explore various tools for managing Teams for your organisation, as well as the process of creating and linking Microsoft 365 groups. We will also demonstrate the process of setting policies to control what users in your organisation are allowed to access in the Teams client. By the end of this course, you would have mastered using Microsoft Teams at various levels and for multiple functions. Enrol now and start learning.
