This course will teach you how to evaluate recommender system. This course will teach you how to evaluate recommender systems using a variety of metrics. These include those that measure prediction accuracy, rank accuracy and decision-support. Learn how different metrics relate with different business goals and user goals. Online evaluations can also be performed in a systematic manner. This includes how to collect and analyze data and how to combine results. Online (experimental), evaluation will also be covered. This course will equip you with the knowledge and tools to help you compare various recommender systems for a variety of purposes.
