Visual Communication and Graphic Design Essentials

We will answer common questions to help us understand graphic design better before we start this course. We'll then take a look at the design process. This tool is invaluable and can be used on any type of graphic design project. Next we'll explore image-based, type-based, layout, and logo design. We will be able to explain what each of these are and how they differ from one another. Each topic will be covered in detail. We will also do a mini-project to get you started and give you an opportunity to experience the different types of projects. This course will give you a greater understanding of graphic design and allow you to take on small projects. Software required: Photoshop CS6, InDesign CS6, Illustrator CS6.
