A junior business analyst is responsible for attending client meetings, recording important details, collecting all relevant client data, and filling out reports necessary for database tracking. They must be capable of managing their own work and delivering assignments on deadline, as well as maintaining regular reports that can be used in investor relations. Junior business analysts typically work with marketing, quality assurance, and development staff, as well as executive leadership. They conduct and maintain research on clients and vendors. Junior business analysts normally work during regular business hours and report to the senior business analyst.A bachelor's degree in business or a related field normally is required, as is at least one year's experience in a relevant field. Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, are critical, as they must be able to communicate information between different groups for different purposes. General Windows-based computer systems knowledge is necessary; Microsoft Access and SQL experience is a plus. They must possess strong organizational skills and a knowledge of business writing.
