This job supports SAP and other related software and requires a deep understanding regarding SAP reports capabilities. The individuals in this position create documents for procedures and processes, and they create and implement tests for the new features. In addition senior operations analysts create announcements regarding the introduction of new capabilities and translate user needs into user requirements and specifications for programs. They collaborate with programmers to ensure that they are in compliance with the specifications of the program and create plans for training for users.
Senior operations analysts works with users and communicates to assess information requirements as well as functional demands. They also work with specialists in the field of development and subject matter experts to define their company's technical vision and evaluate the trade-offs between usability and requirements for performance. Senior operations analysts also collaborates with users to develop concepts under the guidance of the project managers. The majority of them work all day in an office environment, though certain travel is required.
The minimum requirements for this job are an undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in a similar business or technical discipline, and at least 3 to 5 years of SAP experience.The Senior Operations Analyst should have a thorough understanding of business processes and best practices, as well as strong documentation and customer service abilities, as well as the ability to communicate the technical aspects to a wide public.
