Animation principles can help you create more appealing motion in your animations. These principles can make a big difference in the quality and appeal of your animations, regardless of whether you have formal training or not. This is why I am so excited to share my knowledge with you here at Skillshare!
This class will teach you how to use animation principles in motion design. The knowledge you will gain can be applied to all forms of animation, not just After Effects. These principles can be used in any animation software, hand drawn animations, and even stop motion animation. Each principle can be applied to any project.
The class is divided into two units. The first unit will teach you about these principles and how to use them through a After Effects exercise. The second unit will show you how I create animations from start to finish. This unit will give you an in-depth look into how I approach animations, organize and manage projects, create custom controls for my illustrations, implement animation principles and export to both GIF or video files.
This class is for advanced users. This class requires you to have a solid understanding of Adobe After Effects' functionality and user interface. Each step will be explained clearly in each video. However, we won't spend too much time learning how to perform basic functions. The graph editor will be used extensively. If you don't know how to use it, please check out Animating With Ease.
