Course Description

This series of After Effects tutorials will show you how to create animated tablet commercials. We'll also share tips and tricks that you can use in your own projects. We will discuss the reasoning behind the shapes and animation types that we will use. This will help us to understand why these choices are not arbitrary. As we move through the project, we discover that there are many reasons for all the choices made. We will also discuss custom alphas and masks, and why we choose one over another. There are many tips to speed up your workflow when working on projects that have many similar elements. The training covers how to quickly create complicated shape animations and how to think about the shapes you should use to create abstract designs. You will be able to create your own animated tablet commercial. Additionally, you will learn the skills and process that you need to apply to any future project that involves abstract animation and imagery. After Effects CS6 is required.
