Course Description

This tutorial will show you how to create a basic render scene, add textures and render it. Then, you'll be able to combine it into a final shot. This tutorial will cover all steps required to improve a basic render. This project will begin by creating a procedural dirt shading for our ground. Next, we will use Photoshop to create a photograph texture for the road. Then we'll add more detail to the road using procedural textures. This will break down the road's edges and give it a cracked-concrete look. We will then set up a particle system to create layers and passes for our tires. The Maya Precomp feature will be used to create render layers and passes. Finally, the Maya Composite will be used to composite our shot. We will learn how to color-correct our passes, add blurs, and combine everything into one shot.
