Course Description

Understanding Cisco's Software Defined Network Product, called Cisco DNA Center, is required for the CCNA exam. You will also need to understand network automation utilities such as Ansible and Chef. You will first learn about Software Defined Networks and how the overlay network allows VXLAN tunneling. Next, you'll learn how VLANs and Subnets can be located at different ends of Layer 3 networks using VXLAN. Finally, you'll see how APIs are used for information transfer between network devices. You will also learn how configuration management has become an essential component of networks and how utilities such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef can be used to maintain consistent configurations. You will be able to cover all exam objectives by the end of the course.
