Course Description

This course will teach you about the principles and practices of medicine administration. This course will cover the laws and guidelines surrounding medicine administration. It also covers requirements for medicines storage, record keeping, and other related topics. The 6 R's of medicine administration will be covered: the right patient, right medicine and right route. You'll also learn about how to give residents the right to refuse. You will learn through videos, articles and discussion. This course gives you the chance to learn from and collaborate with other caregivers.

What You Will Learn

Apply your knowledge of the policy and guidance on covert administration of medicines in appropriate instances

Assess, monitor, administer and review medicines so that residents are receiving medicines in an appropriate form
