Course Description

This Blender tutorial will show you how to create a realistic rifle. First, we'll break down the reference and understand all of the components of the weapon. Then, we will move onto modeling the lower receiver, handle and magazine using an edge modeling workflow. You will also learn about Blender and its many modeling tools, as well as the essential shortcuts that can greatly speed up your workflow. After the main parts of the gun have been completed, we will move on to the attachments such as the red dot sight or flashlight. We'll also learn how Blender's NURBS tool can be used to create wires, cords and straps. We'll also learn how to maintain a hard surface's appearance when smoothing it using Blender's Subdivision Surface modifier. This Blender training will teach you how to model hard surfaces and use them in your next project. Blender 2.75 is required.
