All aspects of our daily lives are affected by the oil and gas industry. National governments, individuals, and corporations all make decisions about the availability, cost, and use of natural resources. The course covers the most important aspects of oil and gas, including its markets and operations. Each module is a two-week long course. The operations module provides an overview on the entire process of producing oil and natural gas from exploration through to transport. In the second module, you will learn about the factors that influence the industry, such as the market for oil and natural gas, their cost, seasonal effects on prices and the importance of oil reserves. Learners will complete an assignment after each lesson. They'll also take brief quizzes in order to verify their knowledge and participate in crowd-sourced discussions on global markets.
