Course Description

Welcome to the complete practical guide to blockchain application development. If you were to ask me which information technology domain is going to make the future more exciting, I would say it is blockchain based decentralized apps and smart contracts. Simply put, blockchain is a transaction record that keeps identical copies on all computers within a network. It is unique because once information is placed in a block of the blockchain, it cannot be altered or tampered with. Many financial institutions and governments have already invested millions in blockchain research and development. Most have also implemented blockchain in record keeping and financial services. Blockchain-based smart contracts are replacing traditional paper contracts and promissory notes. A smart contract is an electronic contract that executes itself once all conditions are met. Because it is also based on blockchain, once it is created, it cannot ever be altered by anyone. This is the time to learn about blockchain practical implementation if you are a programmer or technology enthusiast. There is a lot of information and books that explain the basics and details of blockchain. Only a few books explain how it can be implemented. I have tried to maintain a balance of the theoretical concepts and practical implementation in this course.
