Course Description

Master the Six Sigma methodology's powerful management and analytical tools, as well as the revolutionary concepts of Lean Management to help you drive quality and productivity.

Six Sigma and Lean allow organizations to analyze and measure production processes, eliminate waste, and evolve their management structures to motivate employees and increase productivity.

This course series is offered in cooperation with the TUM School of Management Executive Education Center and Chair of Production and Supply Chain Management.

This Professional Certificate program will teach you the basics of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing. Learn the DMAIC process improvement cycle. Also, you will see how Lean production principles improve productivity and quality, and allow for organizational transformation.

You will need to be able to use both quantitative and qualitative methods in Six Sigma and Lean.

This certificate confirms mastery of Lean Six Sigma theory up to a Green Belt Level. Six Sigma is based on the American Society for Quality Six Sigma Body of Knowledge, up to a Green Belt Level. Lean Production course material is based upon the Lean Operations course at TUM School of Management’.

The Professional Certificate program prepares you for the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification project. You can apply for both the TUM Six Sigma Green Belt Yellow Belt and Green Belt certificates by visiting our Six Sigma: Green Belt Certification Project.
