Course Description

TypeScript will take us to the future of JavaScript. It will transform our authoring experience and allow us to use current and planned ECMAScript language extensions. This course, Testing JavaScript using Jasmine and TypeScript will explain the reasons for unit testing and why it is important to create good unit tests. Next, we'll cover basic test definition, including test setup, nesting scoping, assertions, and test definition. Dynamic mocking will also be covered. You'll also learn about how to create reliable tests and the consequences of not doing so. You will feel confident using TypeScript to maximize Jasmine's productivity.
