Davidson Next is the product of a partnership among Davidson College, the College Board, edX, 2Revolutions, and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. These institutions joined forces in 2013 with the common goal of creating high-quality AP, aligned materials that would be available for free to high school students around the globe.
Davidson Next materials were specifically created to help students master the most difficult concepts in the AP®, which is the toughest material in college-level courses.
Davidson Next courses do not look like the traditional MOOCs you'll find on edX. Instead, they are a series of modules you can work through at your own pace. Each module corresponds to a specific topic in the AP, and was developed by experienced AP ® teachers to complement traditional instruction and learning. Engaging video lectures, simulations and interactive activities will be available. Practice questions can also be found in the AP.
