Benefits supervisors are responsible for administering employees' benefits, such as 401K and pension retirement plans, medical insurance, dental insurance, vision plans, wellness programs, life insurance plans, and disability programs. These supervisors work with approved vendors and may be involved in negotiations with vendors, such as insurance companies, which provide benefits programs to their company's employees.Benefits supervisors must ensure that benefits packages are sent to employees in a timely manner and comply with relevant government rules and regulations.
