Solutions architects are responsible of conceiving, designing and implementing plans within a company. They assist in the development of new systems that are required by the business and should be able to recognize the company's current issues and the future goals of technology. They also have the responsibility of collaborating with other departments in order to establish new strategies and plans. Solutions architects may work in areas such as business development as well as business planning, mentorship management, quality assurance. In certain cases they may also be enlisted to instruct and coach.
This job requires an undergraduate education in information technology, computer science, or engineering software. While experience isn't always necessary, having several years of experience in network administration can be beneficial. Solution architects must be able to concentrate as well as leadership, creativity and concentration and also have excellent skills in problem-solving. They should also have an extensive understanding of software and computers.
