These researchers work in a variety of fields, especially in science and finance. They often collaborate with data scientists, researchers, engineers, and other experts with the shared goal of solving business challenges in a constantly changing market; these collaborative efforts are usually called a research team. Quantitative researchers are responsible for structuring and presenting the analyzed data to relevant parties within the business.
