An adjustment layer is a special type of layer in Photoshop. It keeps the adjustment applied to the image and the image separated. The adjustment layer is placed on its own layer above that of the image layer. The entire effect is contained within this layer.
Editing an adjustment layer's settings allows you to change the opacity, blend mode, or turn it on or off to compare the effect to the original image. You can also delete an adjustment layer without making any permanent changes to your photo. This is why it's called "nondestructive".
This class will show you the adjustment layers that I use every day. Through this class, you will learn how to use all adjustment layers and what they can do. I will show you how adjustment layers are integrated into my daily workflow as an artist/illustrator. I will show you the relevant applications for both POD art and art licensing, as well as photos.
We will be covering the four types of adjustment layers: Color, Fills, Luminosity and Effects. This class will give you an overview of each category and what can be done.

Lesson 1 - Overview and Explaining the Fills Category
This lesson will provide an overview of the fills category and explain how it works.
Lesson 2 - Learning Luminosity Adjustments
This lesson will cover each of the luminosity adjustment layers. Without going into too many details, we will give an overview of each one. I will also show you how to apply a group of adjustments to another image to achieve the exact same look across both documents.
Lesson 3: Special Effect Adjustment Layers
This lesson will give you an overview of each of the four special effects adjustment layers. I will share some of my key techniques and explain each step.
