Course Description

This series of lessons will show you how to render your Maya scene in multiple passes. We also demonstrate advanced Fusion compositing techniques. The first part of this course will be dedicated to rendering Maya scenes into multiple passes. This allows us to seperate different elements at render time. To create render passes for our scene, we will use mental Ray's render passes and contribute maps. We also use custom framebuffers and render layers. The second part of the course will cover basic and advanced compositing, as well as working with HDR data, painting fix, and chromatic aberration. Maya 2009 or Fusion 6.0 required.
