Course Description

Expert Java trainer and consultant Ken Kousen explains advanced database features such as switching databases, using multiple Grails applications to access the same database, and how stored procedures can be invoked without Hibernate. He also demonstrates how to map data into an existing database using Grails 3 custom ORM tags. He then dives into a review on REST principles. He creates a RESTful webservice using the rest-api profile. He also adds a controller and examines JSON views. He then shows you how to use a REST client to perform an integration test.
