Course Description

A client once asked you about augmented reality (AR). AR is a rapidly growing industry that will be worth billions of dollars in the next few years. This course, Building an AR Experience using Unity and Vuforia teaches you how to create three AR projects that will allow you to develop your own AR apps. You'll first learn about Vuforia AR software and how to create an Android application featuring an animated haunted home and a pesky ghost. Next, you will learn how to create an Android application that creates skeletons which can dance around a 3D object. You'll also learn how to hide the parts of your augmented character from real objects by having them walk behind the object. A C# script will be written to place shadows on the skeletons in order to visually anchor them. You'll also create an AR scene that depicts a 12 foot monster made of particles. After completing this course, you will feel confident in creating augmented reality apps and be ready for the future AR industry and business opportunities. Unity, Vuforia and 3DS Max are required software.
