To obtain the CCENT, you must pass the Cisco ICND1 100/105 exam. Also known as the Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 1 test, the Cisco ICND1 100/105 exam. John Pickard has been training network engineers since 1996. He is an associate professor at East Carolina University’s College of Engineering and Technology. He is also a Cisco Certified Network Academy Instructor and an SME for Cisco Networking Academy's curriculum development team. He has earned many networking certifications, including CCNP, IPv6 Forum Certified Trainer, and others. He holds a PhD from Indiana State University in Technology Management and a MBA in Business Management at Wayland Baptist University.
