Create a Pub/Sub Trigger for Cloud Function

Lab Details:

This lab will walk you through GCP Cloud Function, Cloud Pub-Sub Services, and more.

You should have completed the labs about Cloud Pub-Sub and GCP Cloud Function. We won't go into detail about the theory, but we will connect these services. We recommend that you complete the previous lab if you haven't completed it.

This lab will allow us to create a Cloud Pub Sub Topic and Cloud Functions.

The Cloud Pub-Sub will then be activated from Cloud Functions.

Finally, we will send a Cloud Pub-Sub message and we will verify it from Cloud Functions.

Duration: 45 minutes

Lab Overview:

This lab will create a Cloud function to trigger a Cloud Pub Sub to display a message using a Python code. The function call returns the trigger as a response to an event. Once we have sent the message to Pub-sub, we will verify it from the Cloud Function logs.
