Course Description

Every web developer must know CSS. Cascading style sheets, also known as CSS, is a programming language that you use to transform your HTML pages into beautiful websites. This course covers everything. We begin with the basics and then dive deeper and deeper. This is done by giving you both the theory and practical examples.

Although it may seem easy to get started with CSS, there is a lot to it. This course offers different "Tracks" and "Entry points" that will meet your needs and reflect your current knowledge.

  • The Basics Track: Learn CSS from the beginning. Start with lecture 1 and continue to the end.
  • The Advanced Track: While you are familiar with CSS basics and understand how selectors work, you want to dig deeper and learn more advanced features and usages.
  • The Expert Track: You have the advanced knowledge but want to dive into things such as Flexbox, CSS Grid and CSS Variables or Sass. This track is for your.

The course project will build the front-end (no backend) of a fictional web hosting business. A starting screen will have different sections, a responsive design, modals and forms, as well as a lot of CSS animations and font styles.
