Course Description

Machine learning is the driving force behind many of today's most innovative technological innovations. Contrary to popular belief, machine learning can be applied to any problem. You must first determine whether machine learning is able to solve any real-world problem as a data scientist. This course, How to Think About Machine Learning Algorithms teaches you how to recognize these situations. You will first learn which of the four main approaches to solving the problem you should use: recommendation, classification, regression, clustering, or clustering. Next, you will learn how to create the problem statement, features and labels. The final step is to plug in an algorithm that solves the problem. You will be able to identify an opportunity and capitalize on it.
