Course Description

Dark webs are a decentralized system of websites that aims to keep users as private as is possible by routing their messages through a variety of servers and then encrypting each step of the way. Due to the widespread usage by those who do not want their activities being viewed by authorities, you may be shocked to learn that it was designed and developed by researchers from the U.S. Naval Research Lab, scientists who had already realized that the internet's openness was highly vulnerable to surveillance. Based on their research in the past, Tor Network was created in Tor Network went live in 2002 and made the dark web accessible to the public for the very first time. Six years after Tor Project Tor Project released the Tor Browser that was designed for making the black web more user-friendly, but according to CSO Magazine noted recently, it is "unpredictable unpredictable, insecure and incredibly slow." Tor claims that its network has a number of servers and million of customers, but it's difficult to determine if the number of users continues to expand.
