This class is for you if you are a motion graphics animator who wants to learn traditional animation. I will show you how to use Photoshop to create beautiful, classical animations.
We'll be able to set up a video timeline, create some great brushes, and animated a full-bodied character doing a wide jump. I'll explain each step so you can follow along!
No matter what software you use to create animations (2D or 3D), the principles behind classical animation are essential. It is super fun and extremely valuable to add frame by frame to your animation toolbox as an animator.
This Class Includes:
- How to use Photoshop to animate (using the video timeline and brushes, layers, layers, onion skins, etc.
- Animation principles
- How to make a ball bounce
- How to animated a full-bodied character jumping (key poses and breakdowns, in betweens)
- How to clean up, color and export your animation
Who is This Class for:
- Traditional animation is for animators who are interested in a career.
- It is helpful to have some experience with Photoshop
