Course Description

Tim Dundr, an expert author, teaches you how to use Revit to design plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. This course is for absolute beginners. It does not require any previous Revit MEP experience. Then, you will learn how to use the basic editing tools such as copy, paste, rotate, mirror and extend and trim. Tim will demonstrate how to create a new MEP project and explain the different views, spaces, or zones you will be working in. This video tutorial also covers topics such as building performance analysis, HVAC, fire protection systems, hydronic pipes systems, plumbing, and HVAC. Learn about electrical systems and schedules for electrical panels. You will also learn about documentation, how worksharing works, and how to present your completed projects.
After completing this computer-based training course, your knowledge and skills will allow you to create your own projects using Revit MEP 2015. You can follow along with the author through the lessons by downloading working files.
