Course Description

Do you want to make your illustrations move? Hannah Lau Walker, animator, will show you how to combine your images into a morphing animation.

Every illustration sets a tone and a mood. When animating, you want to convey that feeling and bring your designs alive. This class will help you create movements that emphasize your illustration style.

How can animation principles be used to exaggerate our style? And how can we create motion that embodies our designs. These ideas will be explored as we walk you through Adobe Animate. We'll show you how to push your morphs to the limits.

This class covers everything you need to learn to make morphs in Adobe Animate.

  • Designing the movement From one illustration to another
  • Set up your workspace in Adobe Animate
  • Sketching out your animation in order to create the initial plan
  • Adding Anticipation and Follow Through to make animations seem real
  • Polish your animation with line work and color

You'll be able to create beautiful animations and learn new skills that combine illustrations to make them move.
