No other language has that kind of power. Plus it is fast and scales well when there is a lot of use, unlike node.js. How much effort will this course take? Barely any! Mac os and linux are very similar operating systems behind the scenes. So we only need to cover one of them to learn both. Windows is the oddball, but it is still supported in this course.
