Course Description

Three of the most popular tools in data science are Tableau, SQL, and Python. Python is the most popular programming language

SQL is the most commonly used language for communicating with database systems.

Tableau is the best solution for data visualization.

Software integration is introduced as a concept in the course. We will also discuss important terms like servers, clients, requests, responses, and other terms. You will also learn about data connectivity, APIs and endpoints. Next, we will introduce the real-life example exercise that the course revolves around: the Absenteeism At Work dataset. This will give you an idea of how BI and data science work in real-life situations. Next, we will apply Machine Learning to our data. This ML exercise will teach you how to approach the problem from a machine-learning standpoint, how to create targets and what statistical preprocessing is required. It is not easy to connect Python and SQL. We will show you how it is done in a whole section of the course.

You will be able transfer data from Jupyter into Workbench by the end of this section. Finally, Tableau, as promised, will allow us visualize the data that we have been working with. We will create several charts and interpret the results together.
