Course Description

This tutorial will show you how to texture a character using Substance Painter. We'll first learn how to correctly bake the maps that Substance Painter needs to be able to function efficiently. Next, we will learn how to create realistic character skins from scratch. We'll be discussing how to mix, match and blend skin tones to create a more realistic look. After the head is done, we will move on to texturing the body. We'll be discussing different types of cloth as well as how layers can be used to increase the depth of our textures in non-destructive ways. Next, we will wrap up our Substance Painter training with how to paint hair and export our maps for our final game character. Substance Painter 1.1 is required.
