SimScale for Engineering Simulations - FEA for Beginners

This hands-on project will teach you about the Finite Element Method and validate a simulation using SimScale, a cloud-based simulation tool. To learn the basics of the Finite Element Method, we will create a simple simulation case using the provided geometry. We will also show you how to validate a validation case. We will go through the three-step process of every simulation, which includes the pre-processing and processing steps as well as the post-processing. SimScale, an engineering simulation platform, is revolutionizing how engineers, scientists, engineers, and students design products. SimScale is accessible entirely via a standard browser. It has an intuitive interface that supports many simulation types, including solid mechanics (FEM), liquid dynamics (CFD), and thermodynamics. The course is run on Coursera's Rhyme project platform. Rhyme allows you to work in your browser in a hands-on way. Instant access to pre-configured cloud desks that contain all the software and data required for the project will be available. This project does not require any special setup. Everything is already installed in your internet browser, so you can focus on learning.
