Course Description

Statistics Fundamentals introduces the foundational concepts required to conduct an statistical test and analyze the results. We'll explore the complexities of statistics, examining the various methods of descriptive statistics as well as approaches for inferential statistical analysis. Learn not just the different types of approaches, but also the reasons we require various approaches and the methods used by data scientists in choosing the most effective approach. This course will teach you how to select the best approach. you'll be able to conduct hypotheses tests on both real as well as simulated data sets with Excel's Data Analysis ToolPak. We'll also look at fundamental concepts such as The Central Limit Theorem, Empirical Rule and the Law of Large Numbers and you'll be able to apply the knowledge you've learned through a series of exercises. The subjects covered in this course will assist you in analyzing data effectively and applying data to decision-making in business, and exploring the more advanced areas of the Business Intelligence and Data Analysis program, such as machine-learning algorithms.
