Delhi University (DU) was established in 1922 under the Central Legislative Assembly Act. The University of Delhi is accredited by NAAC with an ‘A+’ grade. It is ranked at 19th position in NIRF overall ranking 2021, compared to 18th position previous year. In the research category, DU secured 11th position in NIRF rankings 2021. Furthermore, the university has secured 12th rank in NIRF University Ranking 2021.
