Course Description

This MARI tutorial will show you how to make your Mustang look rally-car-like. After setting up our MARI project, let's get started with planning out our diffuse textures. We will use a base of flat colors to create our textures. We will then learn how to use MARI's unprojected layered painting and project workflow to seamlessly move our artwork from Adobe Illustrator to Adobe Photoshop to finally into MARI. Next, Mari's stencil feature will help us apply sponsor decals on our rally car. We will then paint several passes with dirt on our vehicle, before baking our texture maps and exporting them. This tutorial will teach you how to texture Rally Cars using Illustrator, Photoshop, and MARI. Software required: MARI 1.5v1, Illustrator CS6, Photoshop CS6.
